Baptism

Please visit the parish office at least two months before the planned date of Baptism.

There is no Baptism on Christmas and Easter.

Parents of the child should be registered as parishioners. Godparents must be firm believers and thus practicing Catholics who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and must be at least 16 years old. Parents and Godparents are obliged to participate in a preparatory course before the Baptism. Dates of the course can be arranged with the parish office. While deciding on the baby’s name we encourage you to choose a name of a Saint. This way the child will have a patron saint for their entire life.
